An evening with  PETE GOSS                                                  Friday 9th April. The Guildhall, St.Ives. Doors 7pm

This was be the first public event held in W.Cornwall since returning from his epic trip to Australia with 'The Spirit of Mystery' and the nearest to Newlyn -  the home of the crew of the original 'Mystery'. £3000 was raised.

CHRISTMAS AUCTION  AT THE CASTLE Sat 12th Dec.

Despite the recession and pre-budget gloom we succeeded in raising another £2000. The Hayle Charity Singers provided excellent male-voice harmony during a break in the proceedings. Once again we're endebted to Skinners Brewery who provided a raffle prize and a barrel of beer for the evening.

NEWLYN FISH FESTIVAL Bank Holiday Monday 31st August.

We attended Newlyn's festival again this year with a stall on North Pier and sailed 'Celeste' in the harbour...                                                                                                The Jumbo Association making their presence felt at Newlyn!
